Time Goes So Fast

I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone already. We’re soon be halfway through September. Lots of the shops have started putting Christmas stock out already. Some of them had it out in August which is way too early. I know people who have everything done for Christmas by the end of September. All their presents wrapped, Christmas cards written with stamps on. I’m still enjoying the last bit of nice weather we have. I like going Christmas shopping when all the shopping centres are decorated for the festive season. Also I love going round the garden centres as they decorate them really nice. Some of them look amazing.

I love Autumn, especially the colours and even though the evenings get darker earlier it’s nice to light my candles and snuggle up with a nice soft throw watching television with a mug of hot chocolate. I love going for woodland walks in the Autumn and seeing all the pretty colours of the leaves on the trees and the weather is not too hot. Each season brings something new which I enjoy except for pouring rain.

So when our heatwave ends here in the UK I’m looking forward to welcoming Autumn.
