Believe in Myself

What could you try for the first time?

I should start trying to believe in myself.

Favourite Music Artists

Who are your favorite artists?

There are so many for me and it depends on my mood what type of music I want to listen to. One of my favourite genres is Dance Music. When I listen to this type of music it sparks something in my brain giving me a natural high which helps sometimes when I’m in a lot of pain with my fibromyalgia.

So my favourite Dance Music artists are Faithless, Paul Oakenenfold, Duke Dumont, Calvin Harris, Frankie Wah, Odesza, M People and so many more. My favourite dance song is Cafe del Mar by Energy 52. I find that with dance music I tend to like more individual songs than some of the artists.

Female artists I like are Beverley Knight, Alicia Keys, Adele, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Halsey, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Paloma Faith, Dua Lipa, Nina Simone, Etta James, Freya Ridings, Sia, Stevie Nicks and so many more.

Male artists I like are David Bowie, The Weeknd, George Michael, John Newman, Justin Timberlake, Prince, Ray Charles, Tom Grennan, Billy Idol and again many more. Hard to think when you’ve been listening to music for years.

Favourite groups are London Grammar, Twenty One Pilots, Simple Minds, Wham, Madness, Fleetwood Mac, Cannons, Sugababes, Chic, Inner City, New Order, Kasabian, Texas and many more again.

I think it can depend on my mood, what’s going on in my life, the time of year will influence what music I will listen to. If i need to wake up then it’s a large mug of tea or coffee, AirPods in and dance music and my favourite at the moment is Le Voie de Soleil – Solarado Remix followed by Duke Dumont’s Love Song. I’m now off to put the kettle on and AirPods in. Have a good day everyone.

Poem about Christmas

Christmas

I love Christmas. It’s probably my favourite time of the year. I love when I see the Garden Centres putting out their Christmas displays and decorations. I do think August is a bit early for the shops to put out their Christmas stock. It’s still summer. When i see the Christmas stuff in the Garden Centres it puts a smile on my face and feels me with a warm glow and I get excited.

For me Christmas is the whole of December, not just Christmas Day. I love it when we decorate the house and put up the Christmas Tree. We always have a real one and I love the smell and look of a real Christmas Tree. I bought a white artificial one for my conservatory last year which looked nice but I still prefer real ones.

I love the cosy evenings sitting in my living room with the tree lights on and lovely Christmas scented candles. Also sometimes if I have time cosy afternoons watching cheesy Christmas movies. They have them on every afternoon soon on one of the TV channels. I like Christmas shopping when the shopping centres are all beautifully decorated and town centres and villages too. They look really pretty at night.

The best part of Christmas though is spending time with your family. Now that is truly magical.

Some Christmas Decorations at a Garden Centre

Beautiful Early Autumn Morning

Woke up to a lovely morning today and it’s been really warm. We even had a BBQ and sat outside, in October.

Possessions

What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

If I lost all my possessions I would be upset, but a lot of them can be replaced. You can replace things but not people. I would be more upset if I lost certain people in my life. They’re irreplaceable.

Beautiful Sunny October Day

I can’t believe how warm the weather is for October here in the UK. It’s a bit chilly early morning and in the evening but the rest of the days lately have been lovely.

View from the bottom of my garden

It’s been really nice to sit and have a coffee in the garden and get my washing dry. I usually find that people are in a better mood when the sun is shining so I hope this weather lasts a while.

Christmas Displays at Garden Centres

I love this time of year looking at all the pretty decorations.

Beautiful Christmas Decorations

I went to a garden centre called Keydell Nurseries in Horndean with my daughter and in the video is only a small amount of what they have on display. They do fantastic displays every year. Always worth a visit.
