Feeling out of Place

I used to feel out of place at secondary school, if you weren’t in with the popular groups then you were made to feel like an outcast and got picked on. We didn’t have much money when i was growing up so couldn’t afford all the expensive clothes that the popular people were wearing. College was much better.

I moved away from where I grew up and years later bumped into some of these popular people who didn’t recognise me. Well thank you Karma because they didn’t look too good, they hadn’t aged well and a lot of them had got pregnant young and were tied down. Nothing wrong if you want to have kids young but they used to think they were better than everyone and boast about these amazing careers they were going to have.

As I’ve gotten older i never feel out of place. I am who i am and the only person who can make me feel out of place is me.
