My Top Ten Favourite Movies

I’ve seen a lot of movies, and the reason these are in my top ten might not be that they’re the best ever made but they make me happy.

1. The film Big with Tom Hanks

When I first saw my husband in a nightclub 28 years ago I said to the Dj, see that man over there he looks like Tom Hanks. He replied, I’ll have a pint of what you’re on. I laughed and said but he does. To me he looked like Tom Hanks when he starred in the film Big. I loved that film before I met him and still do.

2. The Santa Clause with Tim Allen

I love Christmas, I find it so magical, and I remember when I watched this the first time it put a smile on my face and made me feel all warm and cosy. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve seen it especially when my children were young and I still watch it every year now.

3. Home Alone with Macaulay Culkin

Another Christmas movie I love and watch every year and it still makes me laugh. Love watching it when sat indoors with candles lit, a nice throw on me on the sofa and a hot chocolate.

That’s my top 3, now I’ll list the rest in order. There are so many great films I’ve watched, rewatched and would watch again.

I could list so many more, it was hard to choose.
