Book Shop

I would like to open a Book Shop and let my daughter run it. We both love reading but she has more time than me. She has a lovely collection of Books and is always buying more.

It would be like an old fashioned style one that would be like stepping back in time with lots of hidden corners and comfy chairs to sit on. From the outside it would seem quite small but when you stepped in it would be like the Tardis from Dr Who. Much bigger on the inside.

It would have fairy lights in the window and inside and it would be painted with paint that shimmered. I would have different effects of lighting depending on what genre of books were in each section. I would want people to find it a magical experience.

Also I would love a little tea room inside with chinaware that had patterns and quotes from books and serving food that is gluten and dairy free as well as vegetarian and vegan options as well as a normal menu. I would love people to come away from this book shop feeling elated even if they didn’t purchase anything.
