Day off School

No school for the kids today because the teachers are on strike, so they’re going to annoy me instead and shatter what would normally be a peaceful day. Never mind. Lots of people are complaining about having their kids home but at least I got a lay in and didn’t have to do the dreaded school run.
So my son is off out with his mates and I get some girly time with my daughter. We can go shopping and look at all the Christmassy stuff and no doubt I’ll get dragged into McDonalds. Let’s hope we get back before it gets too dark and snuggle up on the sofa with a hot chocolate and Wolfblood on Catch up TV. Bliss.
